Karen Caldwell is the Director of Workforce Development for the Primavera Foundation in Tucson, Arizona. Primavera is a chartered NeighborWorks® America community development organization whose mission is to provide pathways out of poverty through safe, affordable housing, workforce development, and neighborhood revitalization. She oversees Primavera Works, an alternative staffing agency providing employment assistance to homeless and low income individuals, and a reentry partnership with the Pima County Attorney’s Office. Karen serves in a leadership role for Second Chance Tucson, a collaboration that educates the community about reentry and provides employment opportunities to individuals with a prior conviction. Karen is a native Tucsonan and a graduate of the University of Arizona, with a BS degree in Sociology. She has worked at the Primavera Foundation for 17 years, providing services to homeless and low-income individuals in the community.
