Managing Director for Programs Carrie McKellogg is responsible for advising REDF’s portfolio teams on strategic direction for their investments. Whether testing for optimal combinations of employment and services, identifying social enterprise models that can be scaled, or building partnerships with small and large employers, Carrie provides leadership that is fundamental to their success. As manager of the Learning and Impact team, she drives the evidence-based evaluation of REDF’s investments to inform future funding decisions.
After fifteen years in international policy and development, Carrie came to REDF because of its clear mission focus and unique, market-based approach to supporting enterprises that create jobs for those who need them most. Inspired by core values that promote good communication and inclusion, she’s committed to using innovation to achieve REDF’s goals and ensure it remains a leader in the field. A graduate of UC Berkeley with a BA in Political Science and Portuguese and Spanish Literature, Carrie also has an MA in International Economics from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.
