SEED SPOT, a globally ranked incubator has taken its proven curriculum for teaching social entrepreneurship and modified it for the next generation of change agents. Currently in over 20 schools in 3 states, SEED SPOT is looking for someone passionate about education, entrepreneurship and sales to fill its School Expansion Strategist role and helping grow the program to 500 schools over the next 5 years.  The School Expansion Strategist is responsible for meeting sales goals as outlined in the annual strategic plan. This includes contributing to and executing the sales strategy for reaching schools in partnership with the SEED SPOT team. This role is on the front lines of prospect research, cultivation, pitching, and closing school sales with a particular focus on building highly scalable processes that enables SEED SPOT to reach growth goals year-over-year.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Execute tactical sales strategy to reach annual target sales goals as informed by strategic plan.

  • Drive strategic relationships with school networks, industry leaders, and other channels that open up a high volume of school sales at one time.

  • Aggressively reach out to potential schools, build relationships, and secure contracts.

  • Attend conferences and events as needed to grow sales pipeline and close relationships.

  • Support development of collateral, pricing strategy, and pitch materials to sell program to schools.

  • Serve as key point of contact for all inbound inquiries about our youth programs.

  • Track all sales prospects in Salesforce and implement moves-management strategy to close contracts.

  • Leverage the SEED SPOT team and Board members as appropriate to help close large contracts.

Experience Required

Key Qualifications, Attributes, and Skills:

  • Intimate knowledge of school ecosystems, conferences, events, thought leaders, and networks.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute sales process inside of a growing organization.

  • Passion for building relationships, cultivating prospects, and closing deals.

  • Ability to manage and maintain a sales pipeline.

  • Salesforce knowledge desired.
