About This Event
Despite best efforts, many nonprofits struggle to make a significant impact on the problem they set out to solve. Organizations are often forced to live hand to mouth, making it impossible to scale large enough to create substantial change. While many factors contribute to organizational success, putting in place (and then executing on) an ambitious, yet concise business plan is critical.
During this course, you will…
- Learn the difference between a business plan and a strategic plan
- Learn about the core concepts that undergird a business plan including BHAGs (Jim Collins’ concept of Big Hairy Audacious Goals), SMART goals, and metrics
- Learn about the key components of a compelling business plan that will help secure additional revenue for your organization, allowing you to boost SROI, scale up, and create a greater impact
