2016 WWBIC Luncheon – Food for Thought: Grab a Seat at the Table

Join us in celebration as we highlight Wisconsin small businesses through the WWBIC Business Client Small Biz Market and Luncheon. This year we are celebrating one of the market segments we serve, the food and beverage industry. We proudly introduce keynote speaker, Sandy D’Amato, a local and national award-winning chef and creative life long sustainable entrepreneur.

WWBIC has been making an impact for nearly 30 years supporting entrepreneurs through business education, lending and financial capability programs.

Sanford D’Amato is a culinary triumph. From his early upbringing at his father and grandfathers grocery to his formal education at the Culinary Institute of America, Sandy is a master in the food and beverage industry. His accolades include local and national honors including: Best Chef: Midwest from the James Beard Foundation. Some personal favorite experiences include cooking for Julia Childs 80th birthday, the Salt Lake City Olympics and the Dalai Lama. In Milwaukee, after nearly NOT being able to finance his first restaurant, he successfully founded Coquette Café and Sanford Restaurant and impressively transitioned the award winning restaurant venues to long term employees. Sandee is truly an encore entrepreneur who currently resides in Massachusetts and shares his talent at his cooking school, Good Stock along with his wife, Angie. They are hands-on in their approach with demonstration classes using the produce and fruit from their gardens and the surrounding farmlands.
